After advanced training under prominent figures in the field, such as Drs. Michael DeBakey and Denton Cooley at Baylor University, and a significant tenure in Oregon, Dr. Foran, persuaded by Dr. Treiman, returned to Southern California. Together, they founded VSA, bringing focused vascular expertise to the region.
